LandJet Expands New Routes with Access to 21 Metro Areas Across Midwest with New Terminals

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 11, 2020 — LandJet expands its innovative mobile offices and business travel service with the opening of two terminals, Chicago and Kansas City.  LandJet adds these to the current Des Moines and Quad Cities terminal and now has direct access and business “flights” to over 21 metropolitan areas across the Midwest.  “Our customers are enjoying savings, door-to-door productivity, and the opportunity to collaborate using a LandJet versus the hassles and inefficiencies of traditional travel. With our expansion, we can now deliver these benefits to more business travelers while expanding our footprint for existing customers,” said Scott Frigon, who recently joined the company as President & CEO.

LandJet is a unique business travel service addressing the problems of regional travel today. The company combines their custom mobile office with a “pilot” network to create a whole new travel experience. The LandJet is a modified conversion van outfitted with the business traveler’s needs in mind.  LandJet currently has two different models – the Rolling Boardroom & the Rolling Executive – designed with a conference room feel.  Both models have a conference table, refrigerator for complimentary water, onboard WiFi, and two televisions that can be used to watch more than 70 channels of live television.  Each van is also equipped with a conveniently located HDMI cable to connect a computer (or other electronic devices) to both televisions for team collaboration, presentations and/or video conferencing.   All trips are chauffeured by LandJet’s professional crew of “Pilots” providing a safe and comfortable environment for teams to avoid the headaches of typical business travel and “get more done” while saving money and time.

About LandJet

LandJet was founded in 2005 in Elkhart, Indiana by John Dingle to design, build and sell mobile offices to an emerging mobile productivity market. Identifying the need for an alternative to regional business travel, Mark Ross and Jim Thomson purchased LandJet in 2018 and expanded operations to include chauffeured service.  In January of 2019, service began in the Quad Cities and expanded to Des Moines in March of 2019.  In January 2020, Scott Frigon joined the company as President & CEO to lead the company’s growth into its next chapter. Mr. Thomson continues to serve as the company’s Chairman in Bettendorf and Mr. Frigon serves as President & CEO based in Kansas City.  For more information about LandJet or experience a LandJet trip, visit www.landjet.com or call the contact person directly.

Like so many others, my work has me spending a lot of time traveling. From time to time that travel presents a catch 22.  The work done at the destination produces revenue. The time spent getting there eats up productive hours, therefore costing me potential revenue. That was the case last week. So I called LandJet, a mobile office equipped with comfortable seating, a desk, WiFi and an excellent driver.  I was able to spend my travel hours finishing two projects, putting the final touches on my presentation,  and meeting all of my deadlines.  On the return trip home I had several calls, then relaxed with a magazine. No productive hours or revenue lost that day. Thank you, LandJet!

I’ve had the pleasure of using LandJet a number of times this summer for business travel. The vans are well-appointed with conference tables, big-screen TVs, leather captain chairs, etc., and separated from the driver by a privacy divider. I plan to continue using LandJet and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be productive as they travel, or simply travel in comfort.
